Agkali Beach, Folegandros
Parissis Romylos
Colour photographic view of Agkali beach on Folegandros, photographed by R. Parissis. Taken from a hillside, two fishing boats tied to the rocks can be seen in the foreground. In the middle ground stretches the enclosed bay with its deep blue waters, where an anchored inflatable boat and two bathers are visible. At the foot of the rocks surrounding the beach and descending into the sea stand two small buildings, probably fishermen’s storehouses, known locally in the Cyclades as “syrmata”.
