Colour photograph of a relief depicting Dionysus in the archaeological site of Delos, photographed by R. Parissis in 1976. At the centre of the composition appears the god of wine, fertility and joy, surrounded by his followers. The relief decorates the side of one of the two piers of the Stoibadeion, the small rectangular open-air sanctuary dedicated to Dionysus and built around 300 BC.
