Colour photographic view of the settlement of Chora on Ios, photographed by R. Parissis from the south. The white cubic houses, with coloured windows and flat roofs, are built side by side following the slope of Kefali hill. Just below the summit stands the church of Panagia Gremniotissa with its three-storey bell tower and silver-blue dome, while even higher two small chapels can be seen, including that of Agioi Anargyroi at the highest point.
